I can't believe it has been so long since I last wrote. I've been hard at work revising and rewriting the young adult novel that I'm working on. I'm very excited about it, but it has been keeping me very busy.

I can't believe my time with BabyZone.com and Kaboose.com is almost over. We launched our Amazing Toys this past week, and it feels bittersweet to see it live. It was a great year for products and most came in at really impressive price points. Check out our top picks for this year's best:

Hello! I hope you aren't too surprised to arrive here and see no journal entries.

After much thought, I have decided that my website should be a place where kids can find out more about me and my books in a kid-friendly fashion.

I'm in the midst of wrapping up my eighth annual Amazing Toy Awards for BabyZone.com and Kaboose.com. Sadly, this will probably be my last year working on this project.

I've been working on a YA novel now for almost a year, and I'm really excited about focussing my energies back on what I love most - writing for kids. I also have a new picture book manuscript that I'm hoping to shop around in 2010.

I will continue to work on this space as I can while I finish the Toy Awards, but I do plan on revamping and revisiting once I'm done!
